Your role will be complex and you will be able to apply your project management skills and thereby harness the expertise of the project team members through a caring and inclusive leadership style.</p><p><strong>Join our journey towards Fossil Free Living within one generation.</strong> <strong>  </strong></p><p>The Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like PV/Solar. Our offshore business is amongst the top three players globally and we are currently constructing the world’s first subsidy free offshore site. Our offshore portfolio consists at present of 2,0 GW installed capacity and 2,5 GW, which are under construction or in pre-construction. It is our clear ambition to continue and even accelerate our strong growth in the future and help Vattenfall succeed in its mission to make fossil free living possible within one generation.</p><p><strong>What will you do?</strong></p><p>You will report to the Head of Bids, who manages the team of project managers in the development phase of the project. The team will be your home base and also the place where we can learn and develop from.</p><p>As <strong>Senior Project Manager</strong> <strong>– Offshore Development</strong> in the Bids team, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team, internal and external stakeholders from different domains (risk, valuation, HSE, technical project management, controller, permit and consent manager, PMO, PA etc.)<em> </em>towards the successful development of the offshore wind farm and thereby also the bid.</p><p>You will be responsible for the timely delivery of the project, according to the scope, timeline and budget. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of the project, and balance the project’s need to progress through the project phases and following the Vattenfall governance. You will be part of the project steering group, and the project sponsor.</p><ul><li>Lead and be responsible for managing the development project and lead it up to Final Bid decision(FBD) and hand in the bid</li><li>Lead and be responsible for devising and implementing bid strategies to ensure value options</li><li>Defining a development strategy and guide the organization to deliver on scope, time and budget</li><li>Drive commercial and technical decision topics</li><li>Delivering and preparing a bid to fit given tender rules, such as CfD-bids, financial auctions, beauty contests or consent.</li><li>Manage and plan tender documentation and submit accordingly to pre-qualify and when submitting the bid</li><li>Develop protocols for bidding in partnerships (if applicable)</li><li>Prepare decision material and presentations for Senior Management and Executive Group Management when required according to governance</li><li>Structuring the project so that internal governance, business case runs and permit application submissions are reflected adequately</li><li>Preparing and controlling the project budget periodically</li><li>Using your thorough understanding of business case, LCOE and revenue dynamics to steer the project towards a viable project from a permitting, technical and commercial perspective</li><li>Planning and securing resources needed in the projects</li><li>Leading, motivating, and supporting the project team</li><li>Actively managing stakeholders and their expectations as well as project risks</li><li>Preparing the project handover to the project delivery organization after TG2 (FBD)</li></ul><p><strong>Location  </strong><br/> The work location can Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Hamburg in Germany, Kolding in Denmark or Stockholm i
