We are looking for a dynamic and proficient Business Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing our business processes and systems, particularly for the GTM team encompassing Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and more.
As a Business Systems Engineer, you'll drive the optimization of our critical systems within the GTM team. Your experience thus far as a Salesforce Administrator or other technical background in Salesforce will set you up for success. The role requires developing strong relationships with business owners and technology partners to proactively anticipate emerging needs and drive initiatives that bring operational efficiencies and improvements to the table. This position will work on existing Salesforce.com implementations, identifying inefficiencies and improving them or developing for new business requirements and connected system integrations. Your self-starter attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and organizational skills ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
Your role involves proactive issue troubleshooting, efficient requirement gathering, and application of critical thinking to analyze data and provide insights. You will manage multiple priorities, contribute creative ideas for process improvement, and actively participate in agile development and project management.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving enterprise-level integrations and workflows between business systems, while ensuring both availability and security.•Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce.com Platform using Apex Programming Language and Visualforce including developing Lightning flows and components.•Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator(s) to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).•Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.•Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to integration flows, providing high-quality, responsive technical support to internal stakeholders.•Tackle complex business challenges by leveraging your analytical mindset and innovative problem-solving skills. •Propose and implement creative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across our GTM functions.•Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and integrations. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to position OpenGov at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
•7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Administrator, Developer, Engineer or similar role, preferably in a SaaS organization or consulting firm.•Your arsenal of relevant industry certifications should include certifications from systems such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workato, Outreach, Gainsight, and more along with a wealth of experience in the SaaS industry. •Salesforce Admin/Advanced, Developer, and/or CPQ Certifications. •Hands-on administrative experience with integrated cloud tools such as Outreach, Gainsight, Marketo, •LeanData, Quip, SF CPQ, Conga CLM, Netsuite, Rocketlane, Workday, DocuSign, GetFeedback and more.•Experience working on Salesf
