How will you make an impact in this role?
This is an exciting global role for a hard-working and highly motivated individual looking to progress their career at American Express. The role will give you exposure across a new global organization of 1,000+ colleagues, responsible for driving capabilities, digital initiatives and transformation within Global Servicing, reporting to SVP, Servicing Capabilities & Innovation.
The Servicing Capabilities & Innovation (SC&I) team consists of talented operations and enablement colleagues from around the world who empower and enable the growth of American Express. This team brings the GS vision to life by collaborating, innovating, and developing valuable, scalable solutions, and balancing the needs of customers, colleagues, and shareholders. SC&I oversees the GS Gen AI strategy as the team explores expanding use cases and serving as a critical partner with the Technology, Risk and Capabilities teams to bring Gen AI to life in ways that will best serve colleagues and customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide executive administrative support to the SVP of Servicing Capabilities & Innovation, collaborating closely with exec offices across GSEC and GS.
Manage, organize, and serve as a gatekeeper to a complex and dynamic calendar, coordinating across global time zones with senior level executive offices.
Manage travel itineraries and arrangements (domestic and international) including air, hotel, transfers, and agendas, coordinating with other travelers where applicable - while adhering to American Express policies, travel allowances, and restrictions.
Ensure timely preparation and processing of both payroll and expense reports/invoices, including submissions review and monthly processing.
Organize virtual and in person business meetings/calls, making all necessary arrangements, including booking rooms, arranging for required audio, video, catering and other logistical support/tools as required. Manage cross-time-zone dynamics and arrange for external attendee security clearances, coordinating with remote office contacts as required.
Assist with special events and initiatives designed to improve the culture, teamwork, and colleague engagement of the organization, including team building, community service, learning and social events.
Required skills:
4+ years of prior experience as an Executive or Administrative Assistant supporting a Senior Executive and leadership team
