This job posting is for 1st shift with a rotational work schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off, and then 3 days on, 4 days off the next weekThe work hours are generally 10 hours a day and the shift starts at 5:00 a.m.  The starting base rate of pay is $24.80/hour. Starting pay can be higher based on experience. This position is also eligible for overtime payTeam members must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and some holidays, as needed.

Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. 

  • Responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This includes repairing and maintaining the operating conditions of the machinery and equipment, and troubleshooting problems that occur in the day-to-day operation of the facility. 

  • Performs work involving hydraulics, pneumatic electrical, and mechanics in general, as well as some welding. 

  • Sets up, adjusts, and breaks down production line machinery and completes daily documentation, as required. 

  • All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to, personal safety and food safety  

  • Complies with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reports known or suspected violations 

  • Attends monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT) 

  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
