Job Duties and Qualifications

  • Under direct supervision, executes basic design duties to complete specific project assignments which require basic knowledge of materials, components, and their applications.
  • Perform testing of products under appropriate supervision utilizing established procedures.
  • Learns and applies company sanctioned standards and specifications. Incorporates reliability, Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality analysis techniques during the design process.
  • Job tasks that are correctly performed, indirectly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Sustaining Engineering Designer, 3-D modeling experience is a plus. 
  • Responsible for creating models, drawings, BOMs and routers. 

Qualifications:

  • Requires high school diploma and 0-1 years of experience in a related field. Completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.

 

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Mechanical Technologist I to Mechanical Technologist II.
