PAID INTERNSHIP - Digital Marketing Analytics

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Analytics Intern is a rising tech wizard, who is focused on data requirements & data accuracy, extrapolations & insertions, learning dashboarding, data integration, advanced Excel functions, formulas and algorithms. The Digital Marketing Analytics Intern will contribute to the data collection, measurement, reporting and analytics. He or she must be a critical thinker.

Essential Job Functions:

• Extrapolate data from various internal/external sources, regardless of data format or programming language.
• Learn business challenges in extrapolating, inserting and integrating data from >50 sources.
• Learn how to QA data output.
• Learn how to pull data from CSV into Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Learn how to pull data from Google Sheets or pre-existing connectors into Looker Studio.
• Learn how to pull data from Azure into PowerBI.
• Learn how to graph data trends, filter by select criteria utilizing resources mentioned above.
• Learn how to automate data extrapolations using DataFactory, SQL and/or SQL Server Mangaement Studio.
• Learn and apply SQL queries, .NET and other coding aspects as it relates to data automation.
• Measure and interpret data against benchmarks, performance models and industry standards.
• Compile regular, timely reports and communicate to management any important developments.
• Work with cross-functional digital, brand & IT.

Position Requirements:

• Currently in college in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics
• 6+ months of one or both programming languages: SQL, .NET
• Power user of Excel including but not limited to pivot tables, advanced macros.
• Ability to think creatively, critically, in order to clearly present ideas and communicate with team lead.
• Strong verbal, written skills.
• Proficiency or learning Microsoft programs: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & PowerBI

Pay Rate: $16/hr
