Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Partner Sales Manager to drive the growth and success of Diligent’s partner ecosystem across the U.S. Federal, State, and Local Government (FED/SLED) market.
This is a strategic, high-impact role for a collaborative and self-driven professional who can strengthen, expand, and enable existing strategic partnerships that accelerate Diligent’s growth in the public sector. The ideal candidate combines partner management experience, FED/SLED market expertise, and strong technical acumen to support partner presales and post-sales success.
You will act as the regional owner for partner strategy and execution, working closely with direct sales, marketing, and enablement teams to build a scalable, high-performing network of trusted partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Diligent’s FED/SLED partner strategy to deepen engagement and drive new revenue through existing channel and alliance relationships.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing partners, driving joint pipeline development, opportunity execution, and overall partner health.
- Provide technical and sales support to partners by assisting with presales enablement, onboarding of partner technical personnel, and ensuring post-sales resources are in place.
- Ensure partners achieve and maintain Diligent certifications, equipped to deliver exceptional support and service to shared customers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and execute joint go-to-market initiatives and partner campaigns targeting public sector clients.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to ensure long-term alignment, compliance, and mutual value creation.
- Deliver enablement programs, workshops, and training to ensure partners are fully capable of representing Diligent’s solutions and value proposition in the public sector.
- Track partner performance and health via CRM and analytics tools, providing ongoing reporting on pipeline, activity, and revenue contribution.
- Represent Diligent at industry events, conferences, and partner forums across the Washington, DC area and key U.S. public sector markets.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in partner sales, alliances, or business development; ideally within GRC, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS serving the public sector.
- Proven success managing and expanding partner ecosystems; with emphasis on development, enablement, and revenue growth of existing partners.
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise software and ability to collaborate with partner presales and technical teams.
- Deep knowledge of referral, reseller, and managed services models within U.S. public sector sales.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work with executive-level stakeholders within partner organizations and government accounts.
- Experience collaborating with direct sales teams to drive joint go-to-market outcomes and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Based in the Washington, DC metro area, with willingness to travel regionally (approx. 25–35%)
