Job Description
Job Overview:
As a Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations on the Product team at Visa, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic planning, roadmap prioritization, and product delivery across the Applications portfolio. This role is responsible for driving increased efficiency and quality of the services being developed and distributed across our markets. You will work closely with partner leadership, particularly in Platforms and Technology, as well as go-to-market teams and regions. You will shape the strategy for destination product and platform development at Visa to enhance our ecosystem for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive strategic plan across the product portfolio in alignment with Visa's overall business objectives. Planning includes defining with senior leadership what destination shared services and platforms are, and how they will be most effectively built & delivered in the ecosystem.
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of product initiatives. Provide regular updates to senior executives on progress and blockers.
- Drive clarity on what is in the product roadmap with clear prioritization and thoughtful delivery strategies. With cross-functional teams, particularly regional leadership, identify and assess new business opportunities and growth areas.
- Oversee the holistic planning of releases and product launches across portfolio, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and proper resourcing. Collaborate ad hoc with product leaders to tackle complex executions and big blockers for faster delivery.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers and analysts, fostering data-backed analysis, deeper product knowledge across the portfolio, and high standards for product delivery.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12 years of experience in strategy, product management, or related fields. Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
