First Realty is seeking a Porter/Janitorial Custodian at a scattered site portfolio in Lawrence. We are looking for an individual who can maximize customer satisfaction to ensure that the interior of apartments and exterior of buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe and clean manner, in accordance with First Realty Management and site standard policies.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains building exterior, interior, & commons areas; sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, washing, waxing, buffing.
• Maintains appearance of sites by collecting and discarding trash from common areas and throughout site on a daily basis.
• Maintains sites to standards by observing and reporting damage for necessary repairs.
• Performs minor repair work, as assigned.
• Aids with snow removal by shoveling, salt/sanding, and operating other appropriate equipment.
• Ensures that buildings are safely secured at the end of shift
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed
• Works overtime as required for snow removal

Requirements

• Ability to read product instructions and safety materials.
• Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and customers.
• Ability to operate light machinery and simple hand tools.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
• Must have own vehicle to travel between properties.
