Health Clerk/School Nurse

UCA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN to join our team. The School Nurse will perform specialized health services for students enrolled at UCA.  As a crucial member of our community, you will provide professional nursing care, promote health education and ensure the well-being of our students and staff.  You will also communicate with parents and school personnel on health-related matters.

UCA recognizes our mission as integral part of the 5-fold ministry given to the church in Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, UCA employees serve as ministers to help advance the mission and vision of United Christian Academy.

Minimum Qualifications & Training:
• Must be a born-again Christian.
• Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience
to God and the Holy Bible.
• Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Conduct.
• Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
• Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned
responsibilities.
• Holds a current CA Registered Nurse/Vocational Nurse License.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Holds a current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, with proper command of the English
language.
• Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks.
• Must have strong organizational skills for filing and detailed project assignments.
• Maintains a workspace environment that is conducive to productive school office.
• TB clearance within last four years
• Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance.
• Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be
required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form.
