We are seeking an experienced Android Framework Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Android Framework development, a deep understanding of automotive infotainment systems, and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibities:
- Development and Integration: Design, implement, and deliver the in-vehicle software utilizing the underlying platform, frameworks, and SDKs
- Optimization: Optimize software for performance, memory usage, and responsiveness while ensuring the highest levels of stability and reliability
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests to validate functionality and performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed features and systems.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Android development practices, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in collaboration with QA teams.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Proficiency in programming languages used in Android AOSP (C++/C or Java), Android Middleware and embedded systems development.
- Experience with implementing and coding Android Middleware components such as drivers, HALs, libraries & framework.
- Experience working with camera, audio, vehicle signals subsystem in the Android Automotive Framework
- Experience in debugging Android Native Crashes and system crashes such as ANRs, Dead Object Exceptions etc.
- Experience with Android OTA mechanisms and implementing the best practices to support it across various devices.
Education:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar. MS Degree in same disciplines preferred.
