What is the Role
We’re looking for an upbeat, creative, and strategic storyteller to lead our global social media strategy and corporate blog. This is a high-impact role for a modern communications leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and influence.
As the Head of Social Media & Corporate Blog, you will elevate and evolve how we show up across platforms and channels, transforming our digital voice to reflect our position as a leader in Search AI and a critical component of our customers’ AI stack. You’ll partner closely with our product, comms, marketing, and executive teams to bring our most significant moments to life, from product launches and customer stories to thought leadership, company and industry news.
You’re a social media strategist at heart. Someone who instinctively knows how to turn technical depth into scroll-stopping content. You understand the nuance of each platform and how to shape narratives that fuel engagement with developers, analysts, and decision-makers. You go beyond vanity metrics to build real influence, driving awareness, credibility, and conversation across owned and earned social channels. And you’re motivated by the opportunity to amplify our brand and executive voices in the fast-moving world of AI.
What You Will Do
- Own and evolve our global social media and blog strategy, from voice and tone to content pillars and publishing cadence.
- Build coordinated storytelling plans that support launches, campaigns, and tentpole moments across X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with product marketing, PR, brand, and executive comms to turn technical innovation into engaging, human stories.
- Lead all aspects of the blog editorial calendar, from sourcing content and editing drafts to mentoring contributors and ensuring consistency.
- Track and report on performance metrics that reflect engagement, reach, and influence
- Leverage performance insights to consistently optimize and uncover growth opportunities across social programs.
- Lead a small team and one agency partner.
- Stay ahead of trends to keep us relevant and ambitious in how we show up online.
- Champion social media education among team members by sharing social insights, trends, performance, and standard methodologies to guide content decisions and set realistic expectations.
- Build internal momentum for social by turning employees into advocates, encouraging authentic amplification of company achievements, launches, and culture moments.
What You Will Bring
- 7+ years proven experience in social media, content strategy, or digital communications, ideally in B2B tech.
- Familiarity with social listening, influencer programs, or executive social media.
- A strong portfolio of high-impact social campaigns and blog content, especially on technical or AI-related topics.
- Deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Experience working with technical product teams or developer audiences, and translating that into clear, engaging storytelling.
- Strategic mentality with a bias for action and experimentation.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
