Parts Puller I

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of production parts a plus.
• Good attendance record.
• Safe work record.
• Ability to work as a team player as well as work independently; self-directed and motivated.
• Experience and ability to operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor.
• Ability to read and interpret prints.
• Basic PC skills.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Deliver parts to the line(s) promptly so the production line(s) have the parts that they need.
• Interpret prints to determine parts needs.
• Maintain inventory of all parts
• Return all non-conformance or bad parts to be scrapped or reworked; track part number, quantity, and reasons for scrapped material.
• Cycle count of parts to be completed when necessary.
• Keep parts staging area(s) clean and orderly by sweeping and taking out trash as needed.
• Maintain the parts buffer and know where the line is with the part quantities.
• Any additional function within your department as directed by the supervisor.
