Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities.  Other duties may be assigned)

Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of Lifeways facilities and office equipment, coordinate schedules for repairs
General building repairs (paint, patch, replace, etc.)
Maintain grounds such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, disposing of refuse, etc.
Requisition for tools, equipment and supplies
Entry level carpentry, electrical, plumbing & HVAC maintenance and repairs.
Entry level wet/dry fire system operation including fire response protocols
Ensure work conforms to blueprints and specifications
Entry level understanding and implementation of SOP’s
Coordinate fire inspections for all Lifeways locations, including extinguisher services for compliance
Prioritize and complete all work orders that are received
Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Ability to travel to Umatilla & Treasure Valley locations.
Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records
Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA and HIPAA regulations

 
QualificationsQualifications

     Required:


High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience working in facilities or another related field
Successful completion of background check
Valid Driver’s License


Required Physical Demands


Is frequently required to stand, walk; climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. of weight; push/pull objects.
