Job Summary:
Manages the daily operations of Occupational Health and SSM Health at Work corporate services programs which includes prospecting new business and working with clients/employers to develop solutions that result in improved access, reduced healthcare expenses for employers/clients and to promote improved population health metrics. Serves as a liaison between the client and brokers/consultants, health plans, and other clinical and administrative areas.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as a main point of contact for employer clients and brokerage firms to resolve issues, including engaging with other clinic/administrative support areas.
- Manages multiple Occupational Health and/or employer/client clinic locations to include prospecting new and maintaining current employer/client and broker relationships.
- Develops strategic growth strategies and business solutions for contracted service agreements using key metrics and analytics and in cooperation with department leadership.
- Supports financial, budget and business goals. Ensures that staffing is in place to meet the demands of the department and employer/client clinic locations to ensure alignment with employer/client contracts.
- Monitors the billing and collection functions, resolving issues where applicable. Oversees daily operations including but not limited to services, site policies, staff development and patient flow.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Works in a constant state of alertness, availability, and nimbleness to meet the daily needs of our clients and their expectations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and education
EXPERIENCE
- Three years' experience, with two years' in leadership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
