About this job
We seek to appoint an administrative assistant intern for European tenders to join the Business Development/Operations team. The selected candidate will gain first-hand insights in European tenders’ preparation and business development processes. Knowledge of English in working proficiency as well as strong organisational skills are a requirement. Possibility to develop a career in Business Development activities.
Your profile
- Recently finalised university education or in the last months of a Master programme,
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong organisational skills;
- Capacity to understand and set priorities;
- Positive attitude towards liaising with different stakeholders (i.e. companies, universities, associations, high-level experts, etc);
- Ability to deliver “client-ready” work;
- Good coordination and communication skills;
- Proficiency in Excel and Word;
- Full proficiency of English in speaking and writing mandatory. Knowledge of any other EU language is a plus;
- Ability to work independently and in teams as well as under tight deadlines;
- Willingness to learn about new topics, and gain new skills;
- Knowledge of European tenders process is a plus;
- Knowledge of business development aspects is a plus.
Your responsibilities
The intern's core task will be the support in ongoing proposals preparration, including:
- Assist with the administrative aspects of ongoing call for tender:
- Following up on the administrative matters with the partners and the experts;
- Supporting in collection of documents and information;
- Monitoring the timely delivery of the administrative documents;
- Monitor deadlines and follow-up on the finalization and submission of tenders to the client ;
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, protocols and systems;
- Managing the Teams/SharePoint site including the filing of the documents and access management;
- Assist with identifying and pursuing opportunities in new and existing markets;
- Assist the other members of the team with administrative tasks as needed.

The successful candidate will work as a paid intern in our Brussels office. The role provides the opportunity to gain experience in working with European proposals and develop knowledge in Business Development.
