HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

The required work schedule for this position is: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5:30PM
Our Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of our clients at NCSH Residential to various appointments and activities related to their treatment. They maintain positive and supportive interactions with our clients while adhering to high standards of care and professionalism. They also maintain appropriate documentation of transportation services and occasionally perform periodic house runs or assist other departments to ensure and maintain the safety and security of the facility.
North County Serenity House (NCSH), a residential program of HealthRIGHT 360, was founded in 1966 to provide substance use disorder services in the community. NCSH provides a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat
both conditions as primary. Our residential facility serves up to 120 women (with capacity for up to 20 children under 5 years of age) seeking recovery from substance use disorders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transportation
• Safely transport clients in the company-provided vehicle following all traffic laws and regulations.
• As needed, accompany clients to offsite appointments related to their treatment.
• Perform periodic house runs to ensure and maintain the safety and security of the facility.
Client Interaction and Care
• Maintain appropriate staff/client boundaries.
• Treat clients with respect and dignity.
• Interact with clients in a caring, non-judgmental manner.
• Utilize harm reduction and trauma-informed care principles.
• Perform crisis intervention and communicate with treatment team as unforeseen situations arise.
Vehicle Maintenance and Documentation
• Ensure routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Perform interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles and refueling.
• Maintain all documentation related to vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and usage logs.
• Maintain and reconcile invoicing and backup documentation for transportation services.
• Comply with all agency and program safety and health protocols.
• Adhere to vehicle cleaning protocols as part of the COVID-19 response.
• Maintain accurate vehicle documentation with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.
Administration and Other Duties
• Support other areas of the program or other departments as needed when no driving task is available.
• Read and respond to emails when appropriate.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
• May work evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certification, or Licensure
• High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience
• Experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role and in a similar environment.
• Administrative experience preferred.
Background Check and Other Requirements
