THE JOB: 

The Casino Cage Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the Casino Cage during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service. All duties must be carried out in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as departmental and company policies and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage the Casino Cage: Communicate regularly with the Casino, Finance, Marketing, F&B, Hotel, and Retail departments
• Ensure Efficiency: Monitor operations to ensure smooth functioning and balance the banks at the end of each shift, following departmental policies and Title 31 compliance
• Promote Excellent Guest Service: Lead the team to deliver outstanding service, addressing guest complaints and M life Rewards Member requests promptly and professionally
• Supervise Rewards Programs: Oversee the M life Rewards program, MyVegas rewards program, and M life Rewards Mastercard program. Issue FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons, and adjust tier credits as requested, in line with company policies
• Adjust Tiers as Needed: Have the authority to manually adjust tiers for MVP, Mastercard, and other requests according to company guidelines
• Human Resources Management: Create a positive work environment that supports teamwork and client service. Oversee hiring, performance feedback, disciplinary actions, recognition, and employee satisfaction, while ensuring effective training and succession planning with a focus on diversity
• Perform Casino Cage Functions: Be proficient in all Casino Cage banking and window operations
• Additional Duties: Complete other job-related tasks as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Nevada State Gaming Registration
• Two (2) years of previous Cage experience in a similar resort setting
• One (1) year of previous supervisory experience
• Proficient in Poker and High Limit
• Thorough knowledge and compliance of Title 31 Regulations
• Exemplifies Leadership, Integrity, and Courage
• Strong and effective decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Abilit to demonstrate ethical behavior and integrity regardless of the situation
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
