Summary
The Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Adjunct Faculty Member will be available to teach hybrid modality classes that are delivered at the same time to in-person and synchronous online students at the Hollywood campus in Hollywood, FL. The position may require teaching graduate students in other related programs as well as BMS students. The adjunct faculty member will collaborate with other faculty within and outside of the department in the development and execution of this course.
This is a Hybrid (In-Person/Remote) position.
Essential Functions:
Preparation of class materials to teach graduate level courses for the BMS program.
Utilization of Canvas, Teams, and/or ExamSoft to manage and deliver BMS lectures and/or lab courses.
Delivery of graduate level lectures--teaching in a hybrid environment from a physical classroom to both in-person and online students at the same time.
Assessment and grading of students enrolled in the assigned BMS lecture or lab courses—submission of grades at the end of the semester.
Writing recommendation letters for qualified BMS students, as requested.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have 1-3 years of experience.
Must have a Doctoral degree related to the specific content of the course to be taught.
