SUMMARY: This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Escort subcontractors to restricted areas for maintenance, installation and repair

  • Maintain inventory and records of Government materials, and work with government auditors on yearly audits.

  • Compiling information and prepare statistical reports

  • Filing and record keeping

  • Count and log all signed out items. Verify with inventory daily.

  • Track work order status and materials for each work order.

  • Request quotes from venders for needed items. Best value practices help with getting quotes on materials.

  • Fill out purchase order forms when ordering items track delivery and pickup when needed.

  • Log any ordered items and check in when we received them.

  • Put received items away and label phones with the PO# it came from.

  • Perform physical audit on Dawson equipment weekly.

  • Answering the 611 line when needed for coverage.

  • Trouble shoot with the customer to see if a trouble ticket is needed.

  • Reset or setup voicemail.

  •  Use (CAIRS) review steps to receive and process name change for voicemail submitted by customers, to ensure data integrity between voicemail system and (CAIRS) database.

  • Process paperwork and coordinate with hazard materials team for pickup and disposable of hazardous waste. (Need Hazardous Waste Certification)

  • Help with filing new/updated CAD drawings.

  • Update logbooks for tools, vehicle, badging and building entrance, permits, key, and generators logs.

  • Perform bi-weekly generator checks (check oil, fuel levels, tire pressure, and battery terminal maintenance).

  • Gather quotes from multiple vendors and facilitate yearly calibration for all test equipment.

  • Run errands when needed to deliver and pickup parts.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements:

  • 3 years experience and a BA/BS degree. 6 years' additional work experience in related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
