About the role

Sayres is seeking an Afloat Training Group Pacific Northwest (ATGPNW) SchedulerĀ located in Everett, WA with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.

Responsibilities

  • Documenting trainer augmentation for ATGPNW. Coordinate with the ATO schedulers and ATGPNW Travel Office to identify augments.
  • Review training schedules identify qualified trainers across eight departments and assign trainers to individual training events.
  • Review and provide feedback on Basic Phase Training Plans and Basic Phase Training Change and Risk Reports of Pacific Fleet ships in training. Specifically address scheduling, de-confliction, SOP deviations, waivers and staffing.
  • Maintain the Master Scheduling Program (MSP) and associated data collection and analysis tools to accurately account for the expenditure of training resources.
  • Produce and promulgate weekly informational briefs by Power Point to ensure PNW is informed on all scheduling current and future training issues.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, No specific discipline
  • Must have 10 years surface navy experience and minimum at the Chief Petty Officer level. Must have shipboard operational experience managing ships' routine at a division level.
  • 5 years' experience scheduling Navy ships, personnel or manpower
  • 2 years' experience in the operation and conduct of Afloat Training
  • 5 years tracking and managing certification and training schedules for Naval Surface Forces Units
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) and the certification process for Navy Ships
  • Valid active Secret security clearance required
