The opportunity

 

We are currently seeking highly motivated persons to work as Software Engineers for our IT Consulting, a leading provider of Technology services to large corporate clients of all industries. As a member of our team:

 

• You will have a significant technical contribution to large-scale implementation projects
• You will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibility for challenging engagements in Greece and abroad

Skills and attributes for success 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A Bachelor’s degree in one of the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related disciplines
• Ability to work as a team member
• Self-motivated to contribute with your own ideas - showcase the feasibility and benefits with a proof of concept and document your cutting-edge solution
• Experience in PHP
• Experience in Magento
• Completed military obligations (where applicable)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
• Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to project-manage and work to strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a Magento
• Understanding of Magento’s code structure, extension architecture, theme hierarchy and fallback components.
• Experience building custom Magento modules and extending the functionality of Magento to deliver customized features.
• Experience integrating with third-party API’s and web services.
• Understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of MySQL/Maria DB
