We’re seeking a Director for our Federal Practice to drive Workday’s Talent Acquisition vision and help power the future growth of Workday Federal. This newly created role will manage and lead a growing Talent Acquisition team while focusing on implementing innovative, design-led, transformative talent acquisition practices.

About the Role

This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).

We're seeking a Director for our Talent Acquisition team to drive Workday’s Talent Acquisition vision and help power the future growth of Workday within the Federal Government sector. This newly created role will manage and lead a growing Talent Acquisition team while focusing on implementing innovative, design-led, transformative talent acquisition practices. As the Talent Acquisition Leader for Federal Government, this role will be a member of the US Talent Acquisition Leadership Team and a member of the Workday Government Leadership Team

About You

  • Are currently or have recently led a Talent Acquisition team in the Technical, Customer and Global Revenue through a period of significant growth, with experience in leading during hyper growth preferred.

  • As a people leader, you recognize the importance of building collaborative relationships with other TA Leaders, key internal stakeholders in the business, and cross-functional partners such as HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Belonging + Diversity, and Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness.

  • You're able to speak to specific examples of how you can build collaborative partnerships with Operations and Finance functions to manage HC budgets, forecasts, and reporting, as well as to proactively manage TA capacity planning against hiring demand.

  • Know where to uncover opportunities to build and drive creative networking efforts through a variety of channels and resources including the Workday product, building talent communities through social talent outreach.
