LOCATION: Green Bay
STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
SALARY RANGE: $69,344 - $74,737 per year
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Grant Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of grants and special revenue of the College. This role includes ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, preparing financial reports, and working closely with College departments to ensure accurate and timely financial management of grants and special revenue.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Analyze and interpret complex award actions to ensure financial requirements per local, state, federal, or private funder are followed.
Manage and oversee the post-award financial functions:
Prepare and analyze financial reports and projections to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions as needed for efficient and compliant spend-down of awards.
Audit and approve financial transactions such as purchase orders, invoices, receipts, subaward invoices to ensure accuracy of expended or encumbered funds in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Complete accounting processes such as budget modifications, journal and budget entries, time and effort reporting.
Advise, train, and answer questions to college stakeholders of financial processes, procedures, and regulations for award management.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable including billing, researching discrepancies, and collecting outstanding balances.
Complete financial grant reports and requests for granting authorities and external audits as needed.
Assist in pre-award financial functions including analyzing, modifying, and approving the pre-award budgets and completing risk assessments on subrecipient organizations to identify any potential risks.
