Senior Specialist, Distributed Control

What is the job about?

As a Senior Specialist joining our team in Bjerringbro, your primary focus will be on building the capabilities of future System Control solutions with special focus and distributed control solutions, including the establishment of toolchains for fast deployment of control algorithms on Grundfos Digital platforms.

 

Your main responsibilities:

• Aligning on designs of the architecture with the different stakeholders in other departments of Grundfos.
• Design the SW architecture for control solutions in collaboration with the Applied Control team.
• Design & develop System Control solutions and toolchains for testing and auto code generation of algorithms to CBS Digital HVAC and District Heating platforms.
• Collaborate closely with relevant colleagues in the CBS digital offering teams to ensure a smooth transition of new control technologies.
• Work alongside stakeholders and team members to ensure the robustness and adherence to development workflows and guidelines for all implemented control technology solutions.

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have: 

• Master Engineer level or PhD within control or software engineering

• Technical experience within:
  • Control design with Matlab, Simulink
  • Programming and tools: C/C++ high level languages, Embedded C and Python
  • Implementation of Control algorithms on embedded or Linux based edge platforms.
• Experience within:
  • Technology validation, reducing uncertainty, fault scenario testing
  • Simulation based validation techniques
  • Compiler technologies
  • Toolchains for autocode generation of the control tool.
  • Design and develop software architecture.

• English - verbal and written
• Analytic, systematic and structured
• Capable of working alone and make decisions within own area
• Pro-active team player and internationally oriented mindset
