Responsibilities and Impact: The successful candidate will support the commercial strategy team for S&P Global Ratings globally to ensure that OneCommercial team achieves its key business objectives to grow the core ratings business and expand across markets, geographies, and emerging risks
Develop a strong understanding of Ratings business strategic objectives and operations.
Prepare and organize content for internal and external senior engagements, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel analysis.
Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business processes.
Support the Commercial Strategy team in managing existing and new affiliate relationships including inorganic execution and integration.
Support the Product team with product innovation as well as customer intake surveys and market-sounding focus groups to acquire market intelligence.
Work with internal Product Integration team in order to leverage and optimize existing platforms for efficiency such as Ratings360, Salesforce, and other platforms.
Conduct research for competitive intelligence to inform the Commercial Strategy Senior Leadership team.
Support strategic projects and ad-hoc business initiatives.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 to $143,800. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.
3-5 years of experience, ideally in financial services
Highly proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (additional BI tools a plus; Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce)
Excellent communication and presentation skills (speech writing experience a plus)
Courageous and willing to challenge the status quo.
Collaborative, resourceful, energetic, and tenacious: overcomes hurdles and figures out how to get things done.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Basic understanding of financial markets and Ratings products & services
Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within a large matrixed organization.

Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction.
