Slot/VLT Tech III - Full Time - MGM Northfield Park

THE JOB: 

It is the responsibility of the Slot Technician – Level III to complete shop repairs, rebuild slot games, and complete hands-on training of all gaming devices and related systems while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the department and property policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING PAY: $21.84

THE DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Ensure compliance with the policies, philosophies, and regulations of the company and the Gaming Control Board

• Perform floor repair and preventative maintenance of all Slot machines including machine cleaning and overhauls

• Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times

• Provide hands-on training on all gaming devices and related systems to all Slot Technicians

• Work with Slot Technical and Slot Operational team members to ensure slot machines, change machines (TRU / JDU), and on-line system equipment are in proper working order and all customer needs are satisfied

• Advise and assist Slot Tech trainees and other Technicians

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management

• Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality

• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
