We are currently looking for a Project Director to join our Engineering team. The selected candidate will become part of a growing organization with year-over-year revenue growth, competitive benefits, and a diverse project workload. This is a hybrid position based out of Oakbrook Illinois.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage the Project engineering teams for multiple sites across the US
- Work closely with Sr VP of Engineering to support development and execution of projects.
- Track deadlines, targets, and budgets on projects in the Project execution stage.
- Play a supporting role in business development activities leading to award of the contract including client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, taming arrangements, proposal preparation support, oral presentation support, and contract negotiation.
- Clearly set expectations with Sales on deliverables and manage the project engineering team to meet these expectations in an efficient manner.
- Review complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
- Work with construction management and commissioning In excection of the projects
- Ensure that technical issues are exceuted within the framework of APG policies and procedures.
- Conduct duties consistent with the Company's (APG’s)vision and purpose, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution is required.
- Professional Engineering License from the Illinois and and other states is preferred.
- Substation, Solar and BESS project experience is preferred.
- The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting to clients and team members.
- Some regional travel is required, up to 20%.
