About the role

Working under the direction of the Director, IS Architecture and Integration, this position is responsible for the design, development, and support of application software, integration solutions, decision support systems, and/or information reporting. The candidate must have a solid understanding of business operations within a clinical environment. The candidate must have strong leadership skills and experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Information System or equivalent education/experience.
    • 5 years relevant experience, or
    • Appropriate certifications.
  • 7 years Interface build experience.
  • 7 years Hands-on experience with programming applications, interfaces, or report writing.
  • Experience in healthcare systems (practice management, managed care, EMR, or clinical operations).
  • Strong programming experience with MUMs, Shell, Perl, VB, XML, and SQL.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (either business or clinical or both).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications include Coding, PM, Allscripts Advance Interface, Software engineering, Systems and Networking upon hire.
  • 7 years Healthcare information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience with code design and development, interfaces, and report writing with GE and/or Allscripts products.
  • 5 years Experience in a health system that included supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Proven experience with building and maintaining Document, ADT, Orders, Result, Dictation, Scheduling, Dictionary, Charge, and Conversion Interfaces.
  • Experience with IDX SUI and ConnectR interface engines.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
