About the role

The role will provide front-of-house support to the New York office. It demands a high standard of presentation and customer facing skills to ensure all client expectations are exceeded. The individual will have responsibility for greeting guests, booking meeting rooms and organizing associated refreshments/lunch/event requests, manning the switchboard, and providing ad-hoc general tasks as they arise. The role demands a high level of organizational and time management skills to be able to juggle several competing demands in this fast paced and demanding environment, whilst having the ability to communicate effectively and cultivate strong working relationships across the business. This position will suit an individual who enjoys working in a team environment and can demonstrate a high level of pro-activeness, drive and self-motivation and thrives on the challenges that this role presents. The individual must be highly flexible to meet the changing demands of the business, whilst showing professionalism and willingness to support and always succeed. 

 

Day-to-day responsibilities: 

  • Receiving all visitors to Kroll’s office at 1WTC in person at the main reception, greeting them professionally and offering refreshments while they wait for their host and giving a thoroughly welcoming impression as the first point of contact.
  • Maintaining an immaculate front-of-house area and meeting rooms and in conjunction with the site support team ensuring they are fully equipped with refreshments, cleared, and restocked after meetings. 
  • Placing and managing lunch and catering orders when requested
  • Assisting with office events and showing flexibility where needed to be present to assist for breakfast and evening events.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Facilities and Real Estate team.
  • Managing shared front of house mailbox and calendars, responding to all requests professionally and efficiently
  • Managing meeting room bookings and always striving to find solutions, using initiative where needed to rearrange the calendar to accommodate all requests.
  • Responding to a high volume of switchboard enquiries, fielding calls, and transferring to relevant staff members where necessary
  • Assisting with printing, copying, scanning & binding of documents

The current salary range for this position is $41,600 to $72,000
