As Regional Director, you will be responsible for the overall support and supervision of assigned offices, programs, and/or geographic regions of service. You will work closely with Vice Presidents and the Executive Vice President to provide quality services, ensuring client safety and well-being, and promoting the mission, vision, values, and philosophy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the support and supervision of assigned offices, programs, and/or geographic regions of service
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by maintaining quality services
• Manage the financial needs of the office/program site
• Maintain strong, effective community and organizational relationships, including meetings with local groups and DMH Regional Offices
• Implement and carry out quality assurance processes

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the Social Sciences or related field preferred.
• Five years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
• Must have a basic knowledge of the Missouri Department of Mental Health-Developmental Disabilities guidelines/requirements and Medicaid requirements.

Additional Qualifications:

• Willingness to do “whatever it takes” to provide good services
• Ability to operate calmly in a crisis
• Ability and willingness to follow through on routine and emergency situations

Physical Requirements:

• ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
