ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

• Organizes and executes the regularly scheduled property events/promotions. Manages communications for promotional efforts for guests, team members, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintains event files, ensuring all documents are retained, including finalizing gaming control paperwork, at the end of each event/promotion.
• Participates in property-wide events, including, but not limited to, Gift Days, Slot Tournaments, Drawings and concerts. Requires making announcements of instructions and promotion winners on casino overhead PA system.
• Coordinate and track guests responding to special and VIP party events. Dress in appropriate uniform/attire based upon event/venue, occasionally a costume may be used.
• Obtain approval for and disseminate official rules for tournaments, promotions and drawings.
• Assist with new hire onboarding, IT access requests, team member scheduling and department supply ordering as needed.
• Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year of related experience required, preferably in Marketing.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
