Insurance Marketing Placement Specialist

The Insurance Marketing Placement Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to effectively position insurance products in the marketplace. This role involves collaborating with underwriting and sales teams to assess market trends, identify target audiences, and craft compelling marketing campaigns.

How You Will Contribute

• Direct and monitor new business marketing related activities of the marketing department in accordance with goals and objectives of the profit center and established policies and procedures.

• Determine and develop marketing opportunities and strategies with carrier partners and production staff.

• Establish, maintain, and cultivate strong relationships with carrier partners to provide a benefit to the profit center, as it relates to optimizing coverage and pricing.

• Identify new opportunities, market trends, and new product and service offerings to leadership and team.

• Implement marketing strategies set for the department incorporating new products and services, tailor unique coverage needs for select markets.

• Review and prepare monthly marketing analysis to measure progress in achieving department goals and objectives.

• Identify gaps in coverage and advise the team with options; as well as work through complex coverage needs.

• Ensure internal compliance and client disclosure requirements and policies meet client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.

• All other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful
 

Required:

• Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing.

• Proficient knowledge of complex insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.

• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.  Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.

• Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)

• 4+ years’ experience in the insurance industry, or a related field.

Preferred:

• College Degree in a business-related field.

• Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (ie, ARM, CIC, RPLU)

Pay Range

$80,000 - $90,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly
rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
