About the role
Event Program Manager
Red Hat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Program Manager. This role is responsible for the strategic management and optimization of our event execution workflows. The Program Manager will drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event delivery, and providing essential training and documentation to align all stakeholders on best practices.
What will you do
Workflow management & optimization: Manage the full lifecycle of in-person and online event execution workflows within Workfront, ensuring all processes are efficient, standardized, and scalable.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with the Corporate Business Platform (CBP) and regional events teams to gather requirements for enhancements, automations, and new features as event technology is updated.
Strategic process improvement: Proactively identify and lead initiatives to simplify or automate the event execution process, driving greater efficiency and a more streamlined experience for all stakeholders.
Enablement & documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for global event processes. Serve as a primary resource for team enablement, ensuring internal teams and production agency, are trained and aligned on best practices.
Cross-team alignment: Act as the liaison with the Workfront Program Manager, production agency lead, and MO-Hub team to ensure alignment on expectations, track progress on enhancements, and provide regular updates on process changes and improvements.
Operational excellence: Oversee the successful execution of events within the NAFM (North American Field Marketing) region, ensuring adherence to global processes and standards.
What you will bring
5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Campaign Operations or Program Management teams.
Experience in optimizing event delivery across various technologies including RainFocus, Marketo, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce and others.
Ability to quickly adapt to new tools or solve complex problems is a significant plus.
Experience with project management tool(s) (i.e. Adobe Workfront and Jira) to manage and track projects using agile methodologies.
Superior communication, strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional ability to drive initiatives independently and lead cross-functional collaboration.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
