Concierge (On Call) - Mandalay Bay

THE JOB: 

As a Concierge, you'll be the go-to person for our guests, ensuring their stay is extraordinary from start to finish. Whether it's securing reservations, arranging tours, or sharing local insights, your personalized service will be the highlight of their visit. With your extensive area knowledge and commitment to excellence, you'll make each guest feel welcomed and well cared for, while proactively addressing their needs and staying informed on the latest events and offerings.

STARTING PAY RATE: $19.00 per hour + commission and tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Build Expertise & Networks: Continuously expand knowledge of citywide offerings and establish professional networks within the hospitality community.

• Stay Updated & Multitask: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department policies while multitasking across various systems, including hotel check-ins/outs.

• Resolve Conflicts: Quickly address and resolve guest conflicts, anticipating and mitigating potential challenges.

• Promote and Upsell: Actively promote, upsell, and cross-sell MGM Resorts venues and shows to enhance guest experiences.

• Process Guest Requests: Efficiently handle and fulfill all guest requests with professionalism and speed.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• At least 21 years of age

• Previous experience in a guest-facing customer service role, ideally in a resort setting.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Previous guest-facing customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting 

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, possibly including weekends and holidays

• Proficiency in computer or ticketing systems is a bonus

• Current knowledge of Las Vegas or the ability to quickly acquire it.

• On-Call 

• There are no guaranteed shifts
