Area Manager – Global Propulsion Systems – Toledo, OH

The Role:

This position is seeking a visionary manufacturing leader that uses data to drive high performance and results that require no explanation and brings a high level of Emotional Intelligence

• Must be a savvy manufacturing leader with exceptional communication skills and an ability to effectively manage vision and purpose.
• Must demonstrate technical competence to effectively lead in a fast paced, highly technical environment of precision manufacturing.
• Must be a methodical, analytical problem solver able to develop teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be a change agent with an ability see things as they could be and demonstrate strategic agility.
• Must be able to develop high performing teams that embrace data to drive decisions.
• Lead manufacturing team to deliver business performance metrics though monitoring performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls to maintain process performance.
• Demonstrate ability to lead cross functionally to drive solutions that benefit the enterprise.
• Lead manufacturing planning and effectively execute new model introductions of new equipment, production units or processes.
• Responsible to ensure all critical nodes for quality indices are improved on qualified processes using quality improvement tools.
• Must be innovator who can optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
• Must be able to coach, teach and build a team to cultivate a culture that drives business results while enhancing the lives of people.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in communicating in an organized and methodical manner to senior leaders and be able to coach and teach this with their teams.
• Ability to develop people leaders is critical to the effectiveness of this role.
• Must be technically agile to lead new program introductions with engineering experts.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a technical degree or equivalent experience and training.
• 5-10 years of manufacturing experience
