Position Summary
Midstream IT Applications is seeking a full‑time Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Terminal Automation product team. This role is critical to ensuring reliable and efficient load operations across the Light Products, Asphalt, and Crude value chains, where terminal automation directly enables safe product movement, accurate billing, and operational continuity.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business partners, the Product Owner, subject matter experts, and terminal operations personnel to solve operational challenges and deliver continuous improvements within a SAFe/Agile framework. This role requires strong analytical skills, an ability to understand terminal workflows, and a commitment to supporting activities that are essential to daily product movement.
Key focus areas include understanding core terminal processes, supporting end‑to‑end visibility of load activity, ensuring operational readiness for changes, and maintaining high reliability for mission‑critical transactions. Responsibilities include translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories, improving processes and workflows, coordinating testing and validation activities, and supporting change adoption and hypercare for releases.
A successful candidate communicates effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, can simplify complex operational scenarios, and works collaboratively with terminal staff, haulers, IT teams, and leadership.
Because terminal automation underpins 24/7 operational activity, this role participates in an after‑hours on‑call rotation to support issues that could impact load operations outside of normal business hours.
Travel requirements are less than 10%.
