About the Role
This is a Full-Time, ongoing position within the Support After Sexual Harm Service at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Parkville. The position is 9am-5pm, 5 days per week. You will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and customer focused duties, involving a high level of interaction with children, young people and their families, SASH clinicians and other staff at the RCH. You will be part of a team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of SASH reception, public facing phone line and appointment booking system including all duties and responsibilities required across these functions. You will provide general administrative support to clinicians, managers and other staff within SASH.
What you’ll achieve:

Successfully manage SASH reception desk as per local procedures

Interact positively with children, young people, families and RCH staff and clinicians.

Ensure the integrity of SASH data records through the specific tasks of inputting, filing and monitoring
Classification for this position will range from Managers and Administrators Grade 1, Year 1-5 - (AO10-AO12).
Your skills and experience:
-
Previous telephone reception or call centre experience, preferably in the social services or health field.

Demonstrated experience in using various computer applications and competent in Microsoft Office suite.

Previous experience working with databases and health record management and booking systems is desirable.
