Job Description Summary

Penn Parking Services has over 45 full and part time employees, including salaried professional and hourly paid staff and unionized staff. Parking Services provides oversight of revenue collection and control, capital improvements, maintenance & cleaning of equipment and property; resource and people management including labor scheduling for 27 lots & garages.

Job Description

Process parking payments via credit cards and cash, utilizing multi-point of sale processors: cash registers, stand alone credit card terminals, and payment kiosks. Reconcile transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain control of parking facility to which assigned. Communicate with supervisor. Be available for variable shift assignments. 
 
This position requires attendants to be flexible to alternating schedules throughout the week including weekends and evenings, as posted on Wednesdays for the following week starting on Monday. 

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Must be available to work variable shift assignments Monday to Sunday (including evenings & weekends) as assigned. Valid driver’s license required. 

Working Conditions

High noise environment; Alternative work schedules; exposure to moving machinery; Outdoor exposure to weather. 

Physical Effort

Typically sitting at a desk or table; Intermittently sitting/standing/stooping; Typically standing or walking; Occasional lifting 25 lb. or less.
