Application Analyst Clinical - Intermediate

Application Analyst Clinical - Intermediate

 (This position is a hybrid with some onsite expectations in Indianapolis, Indiana)

This position is for the CIS-COMS team in Clinical IS.  You will be using your clinical background and expertise and technical knowledge to help with support of IS applications during project work as well as supporting the applications daily (maintenance and break/fix).  This will have some on-call duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs ongoing system support, administration, maintenance and upgrades of clinical applications. 
• Maintains up-to-date system test scripts and system documentation for assigned applications and functionality. 
• Conducts on-site workflow assessments and identifies best practice standards. 
• Analyzes, designs, and builds clinical applications to satisfy the needs of the user departments. 
• Maintains a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance/improve patient care.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience required.
• Requires current license/certification or eligibility (e.g. RN).
• Requires experience in a clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing).
• Requires experience with clinical systems or experience implementing/supporting clinical systems.
