About The Role

This role is based out of NYC office.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Lead Technical Recruiter, you'll be at the forefront of attracting the brightest minds in engineering and AI to help us scale. You’ll own the full recruitment cycle, driving the hiring process for engineering and technical roles, from sourcing to offer. With a deep understanding of engineering skill sets and a passion for diversity and inclusion, you’ll partner with our leadership team to shape the future of our workforce.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Strategic Hiring: Partner with founders and engineering leaders to understand hiring needs, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
• Talent Sourcing: Tap into a wide variety of channels (job boards, LinkedIn, social media, events, and more) to find exceptional technical candidates.
• End-to-End Recruiting: From sourcing and screening to interviewing and negotiating offers, you’ll ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to assess technical skills and cultural fit, while making sure each candidate has a positive and engaging interview experience.
• Diversity Focus: Champion diversity in every step of the hiring process, ensuring we attract a broad, inclusive range of candidates.
• Continuous Learning: Stay on top of the latest industry trends, technical skills, and recruiting best practices to ensure we remain competitive in attracting top talent.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years recruiting top-tier engineering talent at fast-growing startups, with a strong background in recruiting for specialized technical roles, such as AI/ML engineers.
• Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of the various engineering roles and how to assess technical skills with the help of engineering teams.
• Relationship Builder: A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to foster long-term relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
• Organized and Efficient: Stellar organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Exceptional Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates at all levels.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with cutting-edge sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, social media) to identify passive candidates.
• A strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices in recruiting.
• Experience with coding tests, technical interviews, or other assessments that ensure top-notch technical hiring.
