Description

This posting is for the Quality Assurance Inspector and is a HY04 position. The position is scheduled for 1st shift. This position will work Tuesday through Friday from 6AM to 3PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It has a base pay of $17.65 per hour.

Tasks

This position will be responsible for hatchery monitoring checks for box counts, tray wash temperatures, spray cabinet patterns, mechanical damage, hatch residue breakouts, micro checks, Animal Wellbeing Audits, transfer crack checks, egg grading, sanitation checks, accumulative hatch, vent temps, candling, entering data into MTech. And the hatchery check app. Must be able to report to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take directions from management and work well with others. 

Requirements

Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately; react to change productively, and handle all other tasks as assigned by manager. Must possess good hand and eye coordination. Must be able to walk, bend and stoop during shift. Must possess ability to operate all controls and systems. Must be able to lift no greater than 40 lbs. frequently. Must be able to stand extreme heat for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Hours may vary including occasional weekend checks.  Must be able to work flexible hours.

Must have intermediate computer skills to include intermediate level application in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be able to work in humid, wet and dusty environment. Canidates must have 1 year of Quality assurance or Hatchery work experience documented in their work history or resume on the application to be considered for an interview.

Applicant must reside in a 50-mile radius of the facility.   Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. 

All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.

This facility accepts rehires after 185 days from last day worked but does not accept candidates who have worked for Tyson three (3) or more times.  Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
