Job Summary

As a Loss Prevention Manager, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of all loss prevention strategies and activities, in accordance with company policies and procedures, to reduce loss, drive sales, and establish a shrink-focused culture as part of our overall organizational risk mitigation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Define a loss prevention strategy and metrics tailored to the specific operation. Monitor effective compliance.
Analyze sales and shrink data and provide profit improvement solutions as well as implement shrink reduction initiatives and strategies.
Conduct regular inspection checks ensuring compliance with all operational processes related to shrink reduction, loss controls, and physical security.
Proactively identify potential acts of theft and fraud by observing associate and customer activity and reviewing exception reports.
Investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and misappropriation.
Analyze and review incident trends to advise unit management of action steps that can be used to prevent future incidents.
Coach, train, and influence unit management and associates on loss prevention strategies and best practice execution to minimize operational shortages.
Ensures the adequate and timely execution of control corrections.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Loss Prevention experience required, a minimum of at least two years’ experience in a large retail setting.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Experience in driving successful loss prevention, shortage control, and fraud prevention programs.
Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
Excellent analytical skills, with strong risk awareness and high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintains confidentiality concerning all information and projects and values and exhibits the highest level of personal integrity.
Knowledge of and previous experience with Loss Prevention technologies (including CCTV systems and exception reporting systems) is a plus.
