Summary of Duties:
- Analyzes, designs, programs, tests and implements complex information systems.
- Participate in and support of MAC-PAC Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Earned Value Management, Purchasing and Accounts Payable systems and processes and their interaction with SAP FICO, Kronos Workforce AutoTime (Timekeeping) and EDI Systems.
- Analyzes a complete system's architecture to determine most efficient use of its resource.
- Analyzes alternatives in terms of tangible and intangible factors and the long-range objectives of the system; assesses and presents benefits derived from implementation.
- Design, configure and test programs, and software modules.
- Assesses, determines, and estimates resource requirements for a complex system having varying resource components, and presents benefits derived from the implementation of the system.
- Analyzes user problems and makes recommendations fitting with NASSCO's framework (current and future).
- Develops project plan for a complex system and manages the development effort to deliver the system within established dates.
- Participates in ongoing project decisions as well as medium and long-range system strategy decisions.
- Assist with development of complex system requirements for user and IT management approval.
- Conduct studies of moderate difficulty to determine feasibility of implementing user requirements considering user and information system environment.
- Conducts reviews of system implementation plans with appropriate personnel. Conduct user training.
Education Requirements:
- Education requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline or foreign equivalent
Experience requirements:
- 5 years of business experience in Information Technology
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
Experience must include:
- Related experience designing and implementing Mainframe based systems utilizing TSO/ISPF, COBOL, IMS DB/DC, MFS, DL/I, JCL, Panvalet, Abend Aid, File-aid
- Content on Demand (COD)
- Knowledge of manufacturing business systems and functional requirements analysis
Pay Range: $178,000 - $196,000
This pay range is a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. It takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and education.
