Description
The Department of Art and Art History (AAH - https://www.sas.rochester.edu/aah/) at the University of Rochester invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in South and West Asia. The position carries a 3/2 teaching load. Courses include the departmental writing requirement and two architecture-centered courses that support interdepartmental majors outside of AAH. The position emphasizes writing-intensive teaching and experiential learning, including engagement with museums or community organizations. Responsibilities also include contributing to student academic development, supporting programmatic goals, and participating in departmental service as appropriate.
Pay range for this position $65,000 - $68,000.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a PhD in Art History or a related field.
