Join us in this role where you’ll be working with activities ranging from technical support to lifecycle transition projects with the goal of maintaining and improving our Global O&M Transmission Asset setup.
Welcome to Asset Planning & Business Continuity
You’ll be part of the Business Continuity team where you, together with your colleagues, will be focusing on technical aspects related to global transmission assets, offshore and onshore substations, and other critical infrastructure within renewable energy facilities. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity activities and solutions to ensure the uninterrupted operation of these technical systems in the face of various disruptions and emergencies. You’ll also utilise Subject Matter Experts to build resilience into business processes and response activities. As a team, we work closely together while the need to be independent is highly required too.
You’ll play an important role in:
- building up technical Business Continuity Plans globally
- developing and implementing emergency response plans for transmission system failures or outages
- conducting regular drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness for emergency situations and compliance with emergency response protocols
- contributing to the analyses of the business resilience
- facilitating Lessons Learned sessions and following up after business continuity events.
To succeed in the role, you:
- hold a relevant degree in electrical engineering or are an MV-HV technician or have similar skills gained from extensive experience working with onshore or offshore substations
- have some experience with the operation of high and medium voltage networks and substations as well as an understanding of other subsystems, such as LV, mechanical, utility, communications, and SCADA
- have experience with transmission asset control systems and maintenance management, incl. project management within the offshore WTG industry
- are a good team player, thrive in an international environment, and can create lasting relationships with your global stakeholders
- have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently.
