PURE IN PRAGUE

We opened our office in Prague in January 2020 and since then we have experienced unbelievable growth. Our Engineers are solving complex engineering problems (from low-level system software to cloud computing) that help us innovate our cutting-edge products. Besides our world-class Software Engineering teams, we have many other talented colleagues working in Product Management, Sales, Finance, and HR to name a few. FlashBlade organization

The FlashBlade organization designs an advanced high-performance scale-out storage solution tailored for consolidating both fast file and object data for the modern world. Unlike commodity SSD-based or retrofitted, spinning disk solutions, FlashBlade uses Pure Storage industry-leading, all-flash hardware and software innovation and is built using all-QLC architecture and DirectFlash® modules. 

To truly understand how our customers work with data, we are deeply immersed in AI, modern backup strategies with rapid recovery to respond to ransomware attacks, log analytics with Splunk and Elastic, data pipelines with Kafka, cluster computing with Spark, and many more use cases.

Production Engineering

FlashBlade is powered by a lot of awesome code written by many awesome engineers. Such a large group of engineers also needs good tooling and processes in order to smoothly develop, test and integrate their changes. The Production Engineering organization provides FlashBlade with reliable services that enhance and streamline the development cycle of our new products. We work closely with all internal engineering teams to prevent bottlenecks in our testing and delivery processes.

Our part of Production Engineering is focused on maintaining FlashBlade's code mainline, setting processes and writing automation protecting the health and stability of the FlashBlade codebase. We also closely cooperate with local feature development teams to assist them in delivering their features on time.

We are seeking software engineers with strong communication and analytical skills who excel in both software and systems engineering. Ideal candidates are passionate about designing and building high-quality services, and have experience in developing tools, services, and automation to enhance our operations.

You will be based in Prague, Czech Republic in a small autonomous team of four engineers. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.
