Job Description

What you get to do in this role:   

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for the Pro-Code team, focused on creating a next-generation development experience for high-skill developers on the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, and design, to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to inform product decisions and prioritizations.
  • Define product requirements and user stories, and work with multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and experiences that delight our end users.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive adoption of new products and features.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to iterate and improve the product over time.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders across different organizations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 12+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Strong technical background, with experience representing the needs of developer users both internally and externally.
  • Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and working with distributed teams.
  • Experience with developer tools and environments, such as IDEs, SDKs, and CLIs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to serve as a team lead, and coach employees at lower levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

 

FD21

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $173,800 - $304,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
