Job Description

As the NA CPD Regional Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the organization, coordination, and interface of day-to-day operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency for the Regional CP Development-Project and Portfolio Management and Product Biology functions.

Accountabilities

  • Provide independent and administrative support to CP Project and Portfolio Management and Product Biology functions.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for all field demand planning activities in Bioplan. Ensure that the field demand plan is kept up-to-date.
  • Manage capital project development and submission process.  Track and create transparency of all CPD departmental operating budgets.  Monitor and identify discrepancies or variances to the annual and phased R&D Budget.
  • Track progress on key short and long-term Regional CPD KPIs.
  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing agreed objectives, determining priorities, gaining the cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and making adjustments to plans.
  • Create reports (SAP, TRAX, etc.) in support of departmental cost centers.  Assist Heads of Project and Portfolio Management and Product Biology functions with budget planning and allocation for direct reports.
  • Build charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and pivot tables to assist Heads of Project and Portfolio Management and Product Biology with tracking KPIs for decision- making initiatives.
  • Organize and/or assist both departmental, leadership and professional meeting logistics and maintain an inventory for office supplies and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist Regional CPD Management Team leads in timely completion of projects.  Ensure that the project deliverables are of quality, on time and on budget.
  • Assistance with international travel for Project and Portfolio Management and Product Biology staff: passport and visa applications, preparation and translation of letters of invitation, and various logistical coordination with global members of the CPD team.
  • Manage and maintain corporate purchase card accounts and process invoices and approvals as required in accordance to policies and guidelines.
  • Assist team with various helpdesk and HR service desk issues/processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in scheduling and coordinating complex travel arrangements, both domestic and international
  • Demonstrated Exceptional Organizational and Planning skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral)
