Job Overview:
The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in shaping Certus’ digital identity. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating user-centric designs, engaging video content, and compelling visual assets that align with our brand. The work will support marketing initiatives, enhance user experience, and contribute to the overall success of our digital platforms. The Graphic Designer must understand brand standards and design principles in order to work with stakeholders to take a project from the conceptual idea to the final product. This role will partner with both internal groups (UX/UI Design & Development, marketing leaders, marketing coordinators, product, technology, internal business line leaders) and outside vendors (on a per project basis) as needed to provide various materials for marketing campaigns and business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Design engaging graphics, advertisements, and promotional materials for online courses, and training programs.
· Develop compelling visuals for social media, email campaigns, landing pages, and digital ads.
· Create visually appealing infographics, e-books, brochures, and presentations to support content marketing and sales efforts.
· Design high-quality printed materials including postcard, flyers, banners, business cards, and event signage, ensuring print-ready formatting and alignment with brand guidelines.
· Maintain and evolve brand identity across all marketing and digital assets to ensure a consistent look and feel.
· Produce high-quality and engaging video content, including promotional videos, brand storytelling, animations, transitions, and motion graphics with brand elements for social media, YouTube, and paid marketing campaigns to increase course enrollments.
· Design and optimize website landing pages, sales pages, and marketing funnels to drive engagement and conversions.
· Design and develop visually appealing UI/UX for web and mobile applications, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for marketing-related web assets.
· Support A/B testing and usability research initiatives to improve user experience and conversion rates on digital marketing platforms.
· Ensure all designs follow accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
· Work closely with marketing teams, content strategists, and copywriters to align visuals with campaign goals.
· Support paid media campaigns by creating engaging ad creatives for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
· Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, UX/UI, and video production.
Requirements
Competencies Required:
· Proven experience in graphic design, UI/UX design, and video production.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc.), Canva, and UI/UX tools like Figma or Sketch.
· Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
· Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
· Experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation.
· Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design.
· Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS as they relate to building website interfaces and best practices in implementing designs.
